Publication
While a book shouldn’t be judged by its cover, it doesn’t hurt if that cover looks really, really good. Laying out the visual hierarchy for books, catalogs, brochures and flyers in a way that is easily digested by the viewer is one of my favorite things.

Introduce Myself
When I was a kid, I had the idea to design a monthly magazine for the horse stable where I took riding lessons. I remember the adults telling me I could be a Graphic Designer someday, and while I didn’t really know what they were even talking about, I knew I loved making art on my big, clunky desktop computer.
My hobby stuck, and I went on to attend the DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design. In my career, I have worked at large packaging agencies, and as an in-house designer and brand manager. I’ve always gotten compliments on my efficiency and positive attitude. After a decade in the business, I was ready to chase my dream of becoming a business owner, launching Metz Art & Design in 2021.
My mission is to distill my clients’ complex (or vague!) ideas into clear visuals that support their brand’s core values. I can’t wait to hear about your next project.
